This summer, The Selfish Start Up Co. will be hosting a series of one day retreats for small business owners & entrepreneurs. We will be using yoga based workshops to find space in the body & mind, focussing on self awareness & blissful relaxation. Making the most of this creative headspace, we'll be bringing forward the challenges & inspiring successes of our own small business experiences, helping each other to explore new & exciting opportunities for growth & development.

Morning Yoga Workshop
Our day will kick off with a luxuriously long yoga workshop in which we’ll be creating space in both the body & mind. The session will be based on the theme of self-realisation, tapping into our own traits & habits to reflect on how they serve us in our business through physical postures, breath work & guided meditation. Absolutely no yoga experience is necessary - this session will be suitable for all levels whether you’re a seasoned yogi or have never stepped on a mat before!
Deliciously Long Networking Lunch
After working up an appetite during yoga, we’ll head back upstairs to the restaurant for a nourishing lunch straight from The Corner House kitchen. This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about each others businesses in a chilled environment with no need to worry about the cooking or washing up!
Refining Your Blueprint
We'll be heading back into the studio for an afternoon of business creativity, where we will be delving into some common challenges faced by the self-employed, sharing experiences (the good & the bad!) & brainstorming solutions. Bring a notebook & prepare to get chatty.
Restorative Yoga Practice
We’ll end the day with a blissful restorative yoga practice in which we’ll work our way through a number of relaxing postures, tuning into the ‘rest & digest’ elements of the nervous system, leaving you ready to float on home.
Wear comfortable clothing you’re happy moving around in, you might want to bring a notebook along too for the afternoon session. All mats & props are supplied, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
